Clean Lines and Cleaner Spaces
This collaboration with OK architects resulted in some great outdoor spaces and a very clean look. Here we tried to make use of concrete as a simple surface so as not to conflict with the façade – and it also makes for a very, very, very clean and smooth surface for a dining table. Walking around barefoot also works. Lots of fun here also with water and a bit of fire. Using native plants and adapted grasses to frame the home allowed it to blend in with the adjacent landscape. The large aspen trees were preserved during the construction so that the final produce would not appear to be brand new - the result - a house nestled in the grove with lots of in and out spaces to enjoy.
